Anchor & Fire was born from a simple truth I discovered while serving in the Navy — food has a way of bringing people together no matter where you are in the world. Between long deployments and late nights at sea, I found comfort and joy in cooking for my fellow sailors. What started as a way to share a good meal quickly became something more — a connection, a pause, a reminder of home.
For me, Anchor & Fire isn’t just about flavor — it’s about experience. The Anchor pays homage to my Navy roots, but it also represents depth — the strength of community and the bonds we build around the table. The Fire symbolizes both the way we prepare our food and the way people gather — sharing stories, laughter, and life around the warmth of flame.
Every dish is made with that same spirit: honest food, cooked over open flame, meant to bring people together.
